Our innovation this time was to present two different concerts on the same day in Bunessan, ensuring that all our performers could be heard in the south of the island. This year we had a special interest in music by living composers: James Macmillan, György Kurtág, and Brett Dean. And our last music of the week in Salen Church was the glorious Octet by Enescu.
To play alongside the Doric String Quartet and peers who are hugely passionate, and in an incredibly supportive environment, is a truly memorable experience.
